I really enjoyed my stay at Yesilkoey Airport Hotel. The charm of the historic building and its unique decor made it feel special, even if it wasn’t newly renovated. The standout aspect was definitely the service; the owner was incredibly helpful with local tips and arranged transport for us. The only downside was that I found the bathrooms could use some improvement in plumbing. Overall, it was a great, cozy spot close to the marina and some lovely eateries.

The room had an inviting charm, featuring a cozy setup and comfortable accommodations. However, some areas like the bathroom plumbing could use a bit more attention.

Yesilkoey is a good neighborhood with a pleasant seaside vibe, just a short taxi ride from the airport. Its proximity to restaurants and cafes added to the appeal.

5.4/10

My stay at Yesilkoey Airport Hotel was mixed. The hotel's location in a charming neighborhood near the seaside offered a taste of local life, though I struggled to enjoy it due to my tight schedule. I found the accommodations quite basic and the noise insulation inadequate, which made for a less than restful night, especially with the protests nearby. I missed out on the much-praised breakfast, which only starts at 7 am (too late for my early flight), and overall, it felt like a convenience that didn't quite deliver the comfort I sought.

Rooms
5.0
The room was basic with two squeaky double beds and thin walls that let in too much noise from adjacent rooms and the hallway.
Service

While the staff were friendly and accommodating, the English proficiency was limited outside of certain hours, making communication a challenge at times.
Location

Yesilkoey as a neighborhood was lovely and had good restaurants nearby, but I found the hotel hard to find, especially at night.

I couldn't enjoy the breakfast since it started at 7 am, which was too late for my early flight, missing the authentic Turkish offerings everyone raves about.

The hotel offered basic facilities, but the atmosphere was charming with an antique decor, though it felt like it was just getting by.

I found the Yesilkoey Airport Hotel to be quite an interesting choice for my stay. The location in a charming neighborhood provided great dining options and quick access to the airport. However, I did face some issues with the room, particularly concerning cleanliness and noise. Overall, it offered good value for money, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

Rooms

The room I was in was somewhat uncomfortable due to cleanliness issues and a lack of fresh air, as it had no windows to the outside. While the high ceilings were appealing, the overall upkeep was disappointing.

The hotel's location was a highlight for me. just a short walk to the seaside promenade and close to several good restaurants. It had a village feel, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining

Breakfast was quite basic. a traditional setup with eggs, cucumbers, and bread, but I was hoping for a bit more variety. Still, it was refreshing, and the quality was good.
Facilities

The facilities included strong free Wi-Fi, which was great for staying connected. However, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel could use attention.

My stay at Yesilkoey Airport Hotel was a mixed bag. The traditional Ottoman house vibe was charming, and I loved the clean and cozy room with a partial sea view, but it could use some updates. The breakfast on the terrace was a highlight, offering a nice taste of Turkey, although the pick-up from the airport was a disaster. Overall, it's a unique experience but has its quirks.

Rooms

I found my room to be clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony view, but it definitely seemed like it needed some redecorating. The ensuite was modern and pretty spotless, which was a plus.
Service

While the owner Davut was helpful and tried to make my stay enjoyable, there were major issues. The airport pick-up was a mess, and the lack of English-speaking staff made communication tough.

I really enjoyed the traditional Turkish breakfast served on the sunny terrace. The variety included breads, olives, and omelets, which were fresh and tasty, though it was a bit basic.

The hotel offered necessary services like housekeeping and shuttle options, but amenities in the room were pretty limited. I wish there were some coffee or tea supplies replenished in the room.

I had quite a pleasant stay at Yesilkoey Airport Hotel for four nights. The charming area and friendly staff really made my trip enjoyable. However, I did notice some issues with the bathroom, which could be improved. Overall, it offered great value for the price, especially given its convenient location.
